Once again my chickies were singing way too early this morning and I am a bit worried. I gave them some treats to quiet them down, but you can see the flaw in that plan. There is a person in our neighborhood that has been leaving notes on people’s doors that their pets are too loud, but has never signed the note so we don’t know who it is. We can tell you who it is not by the sounds of dogs or chickens coming from their backyard. From what I can tell, everyone in our neighborhood has a pet, mostly dogs and I know this because of an opposum that runs along the tops of the connecting fences and gets all the pups barking wildly. I will have to do some detective work and look for the quiet yard and give them fresh eggs.
