I almost completely missed it. My first post this morning was number 5000. I have posted 5000 times to Book Basset, and all I can think of is WOW… I just can’t stop talking can I? Seriously? What have I been talking about all these years? Let’s see.. Unicorns, chickens, the ghost in my house, stealing candy from my baby bassets, Legos. We can’t forget about my snoopy neighbor ways and my hatred for kale and jogging (that will never change). CLOWNS! The list goes on and on, and I just don’t see that ever ending. Thank you all for letting me rant and supporting my crazy ways. I am truly thankful for all your kind words and advice over the years. Book Basset has been a real joy for me and I have loved meeting so many great people. Oh dear! I’m getting sappy… wait.. too late! I am in full sappy sappy mode. Oh poo… well since I have your attention, let me tell you what that sneaky little slug in the garage did…..

Have you ever helped your parents pack for a weeklong cruise? No? I didn’t think so. So shut it. So begins vacation for Summer Hartwell – twenty-six years old, living with her anxiety-ridden parents, and unwillingly booked by her brother on a weeklong cruise to Bermuda. Graham doesn’t believe Summer needs a husband in order to break free from her parents. He thinks she just needs a little bit of nerve.
