I have to say, my sweet chickies Iggy and Trudy are strange chickens indeed. When they were younger they would run screaming from me, now they won’t leave me alone. They follow me around while I am tending to chores in the garden and have become quite a nuisance. While I am lifting heavy bags of feed or moving heavy plants, they are following right behind me clucking like two chatty Cathy’s. I try to shoo them away, but they just hunker down and wait for me to pick them up or give them a pet. I can’t resist them so I usually grab them and give them a little snuggle. With those two hanging around everything takes twice as long. I think I even saw Heather giving them an exasperated look as they kept me from distributing treats in a timely manner.
