For the first time the weatherman wasn’t exaggeration. Yesterday was pretty much the storm of the century, or at least pretty darn close. People traded in their cars for canoes and were making the best out of a pretty bad situation. Most roads in my town were flooded with the creek that runs through town overflowing and closing businesses. It was amazing to see all the pictures people were posting on Facebook. A few people it seems didn’t believe their eyes when they saw the streets signs just barely peeking above the water, and they still tried to drive their cars through the flooded roads. Thankfully they were all safe after they swam back to higher ground, but their cars wee not as lucky.

Sneaking out of the palace wasn’t one of Aniri’s best ideas. But she’s the Third Daughter of the Queen of Dharia — zero responsibilities and zero royal duties. She’s just the backup daughter, in case her older sisters’ arranged marriages — to take the crown or broker an alliance — don’t quite work out. But once Aniri reaches her 18th birthday, she’ll be truly free… and then she can marry the charming fencing instructor she meets for fevered kisses in the forest. But then the impossible happens — a marriage proposal. From a barbarian prince in the north, no less. And if Aniri refuses, the threat of their new flying weapon might bring war. So she agrees to the young prince’s proposal, but only as a subterfuge to spy on him, find the weapon, and hopefully avoid both war and an arranged marriage to a man she doesn’t love. But once she arrives in the sweeping mountains of the north, she discovers the prince has his own secrets… and saving her country may end up breaking her heart.
This Bollywood-style royal romance takes you to an alternate East Indian world filled with skyships, saber duels, and lots of royal intrigue.

People who preyed on those weaker and more defenseless than themselves deserved whatever punishment was thrown at them. That thought drove Dr. Georgia Dennis in every decision she made, personal and professional. A profiler with the Complex Crimes Unit of the FBI, she was tired of being second-guessed by her boss Michael “Hell” Hellbrook. Once they caught the sociopath responsible for stoning teenaged girls, she was gone from Hellbrook’s team faster than the ink could dry on the transfer papers. Georgia and Hellbrook are hot on the trail of a sadistic killer targeting women and girls with brown hair and brown eyes — women with a striking resemblance to Georgia. Hellbrook will do anything to protect his team, even the woman he never wanted on it in the first place. By keeping her at his side, he grows closer to her until the flame between them erupts and consumes them both. As they get deeper involved with the case and with each other, they do not realize someone else is watching, someone whose descent into madness threatens everyone around them. Is this watcher their killer, or someone much closer?

America’s beloved and distinguished first president is hunted down by Gen. C.P. ‘Mad Dog’ Ehrlichmann from aboard the aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan. Ehrlichmann must use every weapon in his arsenal to capture the dangerous insurgent, dead or alive. In this work of short-fiction, author Antonio J. Hopson blends speculative fiction, historical fiction and narrative force to imagine what it would be like if our nation’s forefathers were attacked by the world’s most deadly war machine: The United States of America. Washington, Franklin and Revere are insurgent foes pursued by Allied Forces. Their actions lead to instability in the troubled colonies, marred by guerrilla tactics, sabotage and collateral damage. The Battle of Boston (April 19, 1775 – March 17, 1776) is recounted by an embedded reporter, who pens a stark, first person reflection of America’s war on terror/war on itself. Liberty is at stake. For Edward immortality has been very lonely of late. After several decades in hiding, he’s surfaced to find scarcely any of his kind left. Most importantly, his beloved Beatrix would appear to have succumbed to the sands of time. Curious to learn what might have befallen her, he stalks the last two immortals, Arron and his daughter Jennifer, in hopes of learning her fate. Things are about to get a lot less lonely for dear old Edward. He’s stumbled into a battleground between light and darkness. While this particular war has been going on since before the biblical flood, Edward will have to sort out the puzzle quickly, or join his friends in the afterlife. On that subject, Arron’s daughter may have a few ideas of her own. It would seem Jennifer Faust is convinced that the gates of Hell have a revolving door, not a padlock and she is the key.
