Not one person in this world has ever accused me of being a photographer, so that will explain the terrible pictures of the new guinea pigs, but you will get an idea of how they look. Short, fuzzy, 1/3 head. The black one is Coco and the brown and white piggy is Henry. Actually, I think Henry is 90% head. Funny looking little guy who wont stop eating. I think it’s a bit weird that I am doing everything in my power to get rid of the rats outside, but inside I am catering to two little fuzzy guys who look like rats without tails. Sinny the cat is a confused by this as well. He is still trying to figure out if he should try and eat them. The only thing that is stopping him from attempting it is the fact that it looks like work to do so. A lazy cat is an easy cat.

Some Lucky Woman: Jana’s Story (What’s luck got to do with It Book 1)

Some lucky women meet the man of their dreams and live happily ever after. Some lucky women focus on a career and make their own happily ever after. And then some women wake up after fifteen years of marriage and discover that their luck just ran out… right into the arms of another woman.

Jana Embers isn’t one to sit back, though. The first thing Jana realizes she needs to do is empty the joint bank account, then she’s thinking she might take a tire iron to her soon-to-be-ex-husband’s truck. After that, she’s not sure what she’ll do… Maybe she’ll adopt a cat.

Very quickly, Jana decides she doesn’t need a man. A perfectly sized and shaped device and writing about the perfect hero will more than suffice. Determined to share her philosophy, she pens You Don’t Need a Man, encouraging women everywhere to go out and experience life instead of waiting for a man to complete them.

Three years later, Jana has a New York Times bestseller and a contract for a movie adaptation, but she also has a shoulder injury, which has put a crimp in her new carefree lifestyle. Worse yet, she can’t write. Her only hope is Dr. Adrian Kijek, a renowned physical therapist who hates her simply because she wrote a book about not needing a man, or so she thinks…

WARNING: Although there are many adult situations in this novel, if say… something crazy happened and a famous producer adapted this contemporary women’s fiction into a movie, it would have a PG-13 rating. There are no erotic scenes, no graphic violence, and while there are a few allowed-on-TV curse words, there aren’t a plethora of gratuitous foul words. Oh, and if you were looking for a cliffhanger, you won’t find that here either. Some Lucky Woman includes all three parts of Jana’s story. Please proceed at your own risk.

We both leaned against the old house, peeling paint digging into my arms as I a glanced into the window.

She was there!

Raising her gun toward the Sheriff, she took careful aim as a maniacal sneer formed on her lips.

“You disgust me,” she snarled with unbounded rage. Throwing her head back suddenly, she let loose a loud, evil laugh, straight from the bowels of hell.

“At least this way, I get to personally witness your last breath,” she grinned as she cocked her gun. “Quite the consolation prize, I assure you.”

I glanced over at Frank, who nodded as he tensed himself to break through the door. Cocking my own weapon, I knew that this was the moment… capture or kill, this all ended now.

“I damn you to Hell Sheriff,” she shouted then, “You should feel right at home there.”

Frank burst through the door with me close behind… it was the moment that my life changed… forever!

James Mason has one of the best jobs in the world. As editor of the Globe, one of London’s leading tabloids, his job is all about entertainment. It’s about publicly humiliating the more fortunate, such as politicians and celebrities, for the pleasure of the less fortunate. And if James Mason has learned nothing else in his nearly twenty years on Fleet Street, it’s that nothing entertains and nothing humiliates quite like infidelity. When the opportunity arises to expose the infidelity of one of Britain’s leading politicians with a high-class call girl, James doesn’t hesitate to take it. But how does James cope when his own infidelity is exposed and the details of his year-long affair with London socialite and “It” girl, Sienna Barrett, are splashed on the front pages of rival newspapers? If James Mason is in the relationship-destruction business, then his wife, Dr. Deborah Sacks, a world-renowned marriage therapist, is in the relationship-salvation business. For Deborah almost everyone deserves a second chance, even those who are guilty of infidelity. But how does Deborah cope with her own husband’s adultery? From attending film premieres in Leicester Square with Hollywood actors to launching the Globe’s new Page 5 Girls, the life of James Mason is always entertaining. But tabloid editors by the very nature of their jobs have their enemies. And in James’s case many of them will stop at nothing to exact revenge. Soon James is fighting to save not just his marriage but also his career.
