I am just going to go ahead and say it. I have a creepy habit. I love it when I am driving around the neighborhood and people have their garage doors open. I love to see what kind of stuff people have in their garages. It always fascinates me. I often wonder what is in those boxes people have stacked from floor to ceiling. The stuff is important enough to keep, but not important enough to be able to get to it. I find it utterly confusing those people who have next to nothing in their garage. The bare walls and lack of shelves make me wonder if they are even human. I always giggle at the people who keep their husbands in the garage. These are easy to spot with the oversize TV’s, worn couches, and mini fridges in the corner. These set-ups are known for attracting other men, so I often wonder if the wife is just fishing for a hubby for her single friends. Maybe that’s the way to get a man. If you are too nervous to try online dating, or going to the bars aint your thing, just set-up a man cave in your garage, open the door, and see what wanders in. (Disclamer.. please don’t do this. I am sure that trapping men is illegal and possible dangerous.)

“Continued brilliance. The characters will make you laugh and cry and fume while you’re reading.” Colin Quinn
PLEASE NOTE: Although this book is part of the IRISH LOTTERY SERIES, there is no cliffhanger. It is true that the characters get older as the series progresses, but each book is a complete story, and can be enjoyed without having read the previous book.
With a family like this, who wouldn’t need absinthe?
Fionnuala Flood, mother of seven unruly thugs, takes stock of her life on her 45th birthday, and it couldn’t be more of a misery. She’s been fired from the corner shop for stealing, her two oldest sons are in prison, her husband’s hands are fondling more than frozen fish at the packing plant, and her lesbian daughter has just published a book exposing the family’s attempts to get their claws into Auntie Ursula Barnett’s lottery winnings the year before. Daughter Dymphna, unwed mother, has just been kicked out of her boyfriend’s house, adding two more mouths to feed.
Desperate to raise money to travel to Malta for the launch party and wreak havoc, Fionnuala puts into motion a get-rich-quick scheme that preys on the weaknesses of others and will hopefully add a bit of luxury to her empty coal bin of a life. The scam, however, unleashes dark secrets that bring Ursula back to town for a final showdown.
Hand In The Till is a darkly comic look at revenge, retribution and, perhaps, reconciliation. With a shot of absinthe.

Mark Taylor’s Checkered Past: KINDLE EDITION (The Lottery Heiress Book 2)

(This book is a winner of the 2015 President’s Award in Humor from the Florida Authors and Publishers Association.)
Mark Taylor is the epitome of American success. He’s handsome, rich and adored by millions. When he arrives in Miami to make a movie, his life quickly spirals out of control. And now his reckless lifestyle has left him with a secret that could destroy everything! A humorous but cautionary tale about living a life of excess, Mark Taylor’s Checkered Past is filled with inner struggles and life-changing connections. Join Mark through his battle for recovery that not everybody wants him to win.
This book is primarily about a movie star and his struggle with living in the past and addiction. It is not a dark, depressing tale of alcoholism but has serious situations that show that show you can’t live in the past and expect to prosper both personally and professionally. There are many comedic moments in the book that have readers laughing out loud. Mark is a fan of classic rock, so there are plenty of rock and roll references that will keep readers amused. This is the second book in the series, however, the stories are written independently so the reader can choose which book to read first.
This follow-up novel is also a roller-coaster ride but has some laughs and quotable moments for the reader.
