At 6pm last night my brain decided it was time to paint the kitchen. I tried to reason with it and convince it that starting tomorrow would be preferred. It did not agree with me. Body was on board with waiting until tomorrow, but brain seemed to think it was in charge. Brain is a bit of a jerk sometimes. Hubby and I had been planning to paint within the next few days. We need to update the kitchen and family room, and I prefer to do it in the Summer when it is hot outside. We had already bought some new brushes, tape, and a can of primer. So it was going to happen soon, but I just don’t understand my brain wanting to do it NOW! Hubby would have stopped me, but he knows when I get like this, there is no reasoning me and to just go with it. He even did a late evening run to the hardware store to grab some samples while I painted primer on the walls. The color we decided on is a really pretty blue. By the end of the day Sunday we will have a newly painted kitchen! YAY!
