I just watched an actual race between a tortoise and a hare on YouTube. The silly rabbit lost! I wonder if he brought shame to his family. I wonder if there is a reason the hare keeps losing. It might be some sort of agreement. It could also be that the tortoise threatened to bite the hare and it’s children if he ever tried to win a race against him. Have you ever been bitten but a tortoise? NOT GOOD! Once I watched a baby tortoise walk right up to a guy sitting on the ground, and bit him in the thigh. I have never seen a man scream so loud in my life. Funny thing is I watched that tortoise slowly walk up to him, and slowly open his mouth, then take a quick bite. I had plenty of opportunities to warn the guy, but I didn’t want to interrupt his story. I’m not going to lie. I also really wanted to see how it all played out with the little guy. I still feel kinda bad I didn’t warn him, but the curiosity would have made me feel worse had I not watched it play out to the end.
