Not just one, but TWO of my birthday presents came in the mail yesterday! My birthday isn’t even until next month, so I am debating if they still count as presents or not. Hmmm…. I have a month to decide. The first is a three way soil meter. This is something I can’t believe I have gone without for so long, and I am really hoping this will step up my garden game. With a better understanding of the PH, moisture, and light level each plant is getting, I am hoping I will have bigger healthier plants. My other gift is a little greenhouse. The hardware stores don’t always have the plants I want, so I have been ordering seeds online and need a proper place to start them. I also needed a place to store my plants that require a little more protection through the winter. Having bees has certainly made me more focused on what I want out of my garden, and I am less patient with my trial and error method. I will give myself two days before that greenhouse is completely full.
If you would like to see more about what is happening in the garden and with my bees, you can visit my other blog, Girls Bee Haven, by clicking here.
