I spent a good part of this morning shuffling around the house in my robe and slippers looking for my reading glasses. The day before my birthday I am shuffling around the house at 3:30 in the morning, mumbling to myself about being blind as a bat while the soft shh shh shh of my slippers echos all around me. I think it best today if I listen to some hardcore metal music and maybe drink a few bottles of Jolt Cola. You know… re-connect with my youth. After a refreshing glass of Metamucil and a nap of course.

Mail Order Husband Frank (Montana Mail Order Brides Series Book 4)
by Rose Jenster
(74 Reviews)
Genre: Westerns | Literature & Fiction | Teen & Young Adult
FREE for a limited time
Charlotte grew up in New York and was always been fascinated by the penny novels about the wild west. She sacrificed a great deal for her family after her father’s death and wanted to take a chance to find love out west before it was too late. Charlotte wrote her former teacher for advice since she herself moved to Montana after answering a mail order bride advertisement.
Leah played matchmaker, but the initial letters between Charlotte and Frank were quite intense due to Frank’s critical side. He is the owner of the Billings, Montana newspaper and they have a similar love for writing. Charlotte has a secret identity in Albany and this gets explored in the novella.
Charlotte had strong doubts about his character due to Frank’s biting and cutting remarks about her brother. But, she takes a chance and moves out west. Can Frank accept being with a caring, but also strong woman? Will his grumpy and argumentative traits make it impossible for him to be in a loving relationship? Is Charlotte able to get past his cantankerous persona and see his true heart?
This is a 36,000 word stand-alone novella and can be read independently, but is also book four in the series. Note that Mail Order Bride Leah, Mail Order Bride Tess, Mail Order Bride Felicity and Mail Order Bride Verity are all available at Amazon. Each book is a clean romance without a cliffhanger. The second series begins with Martha’s Story and is an Amish love journey.
