My 17 year old cat Sinny has really gone down hill lately. He has a very hard time walking and when I scratch his back I have to do it lightly or his back legs will give out. Sounds sad, right? Well, what he lacks in physical strength, he more than makes up for in persistence. I am certain any demand he makes he gets in full. I think he has mind controlling abilities now. Anytime he meows I stop what I’m doing to see what he wants. Every. Single. Time. When did this happen? Even the pups Junebug and Casper bend to his will. They will both be on my lap, and Sinny will limp over and sit on both of them. RIGHT ON TOP OF THEM! And they do nothing. They just sit there real still like until he decides to leave. I like to wait it out and see how long they both stay for. Hahaha. Sinny Sinny. With great power comes great responsibility. Can you use some of that power to keep Casper from barking so much?? I’ll give you some tuna. No? Oh, okay…here is the tuna anyways.
The Eves of My Destruction

Should I bolt, skip bail and just run? I have no idea, probably because I am losing my ability to think rationally, but I’m not sure what else to do. When I make the mistake of watching TV talk shows, I hear myself described in ways that are shocking, and leave me gasping for air. Various pseudo experts casually blame me for aiding and abetting the Iranian nuclear program, ascribing to me powers and intent so divergent from my reality it makes we wonder if misperception is their only reality. And when they throw out words like treason and death penalty, I wonder how my wife and children can bare it.
Sitting here doing nothing, waiting for the inevitable, seems pointless. I know they will catch me eventually — maybe even quickly — but if I had enough time, maybe, just maybe, I could fix it.

Vampyres don’t exist. They absolutely do not exist.
At least I didn’t think they did ’til I tried to quit smoking and ended up Undead. Who in the hell did I screw over in a former life that my getting healthy equates with dead?
Now I’m a Vampyre. Yes, we exist whether we want to or not. However, I have to admit, the perks aren’t bad. My girls no longer jiggle, my ass is higher than a kite and the latest Prada keeps finding its way to my wardrobe. On the downside, I’m stuck with an obscenely profane Guardian Angel who looks like Oprah and a Fairy Fighting Coach who’s teaching me to annihilate like the Terminator.
To complicate matters, my libido has increased to Vampyric proportions and my attraction to a hotter than Satan’s underpants killer rogue Vampyre is not only dangerous… it’s possibly deadly. For real dead. Permanent death isn’t on my agenda. Avoiding him is my only option. Of course, since he thinks I’m his, it’s easier said than done. Like THAT’S not enough to deal with, all the other Vampyres think I’m some sort of Chosen One.
Holy Hell, if I’m in charge of saving an entire race of blood suckers, the Undead are in for one hell of a ride.
