With the bee colony that I caught last year out of my backyard, the swarms are no longer coming to my house and taking over my yard as well as my neighbors yards. With a swarm or two coming in every day I was getting very stressed out. I was worried that I was upsetting the neighbors and I didn’t want my little hobby to cause friction between us. I was certain that is was last year’s swarm that was attracting them, so I made the tough decision to move them to my partner in crime’s property. Now…no more swarms. That’s good, right? Hmm… I guess so. I miss the excitement of catching a swarm. I even went out and bought additional equipment for the next swarm. My partner in crime’s hubby mentioned that there are A LOT of bees at his house and we probably don’t need anymore. I think 12 colonies is enough… unless another one falls in my lap.

After witnessing both his parents killed by a vicious gang, Samuel “Cully” McCullough has devoted his life to putting such outlaws either in their graves or prison. Having worked both as a U.S. marshal and a bounty hunter he ruthlessly pursues villains who plague the West. The son of a clergyman, Cully has strayed from the faith but not from righteousness.
As committed as Cully is to law and justice, shrewd and ruthless outlaw “Smiley” James lives a life of crime. With his hardened gang of killers he has created a horrific mail-order bride scam. Young women are lured from the East to become brides for ranchers or businessmen in the West. When they arrive they are taken captive and forced to work in a profession that has nothing to do with wedding rings.
James fancies himself as a rich businessman and is more than willing to kill anyone and everyone who gets in his way.
Cully is hired to find a young mail-order bride from Philadelphia who has gone missing. The evidence leads to Smiley and his gang. Cully is outnumbered and out-gunned. This is not the first time he has faced long odds, and it may be the most dangerous and bloodiest hunt of his career.

Five pages…
A letter holding a secret buried for more than five years…
A secret neither of them wanted to know.
Will the truth tear them apart… again?
I’ve loved my best friend’s brother, Houston Cavanaugh, since I was eleven years old. But my friendship with Hallie Cavanaugh meant too much to me to risk taking a chance with Houston.
Until one snowy afternoon, Houston and I find ourselves thrust together by the grief of Hallie’s death. Our passionate and toxic relationship will test the boundaries of our loyalty to each other and to Hallie’s memory, ultimately, leaving us in ruins.
Five years later, Houston and I are forced to work together opening up a new wine bar, and, to my horror, Houston doesn’t recognize me.
I haven’t changed much, but he certainly has.
He’s still as sexy as he was five years ago when he broke my heart, but time, grief, and a loveless marriage have broken him.
The moment Houston recognizes me, all our memories and long-buried passion come rushing to the surface. Can we rewrite our story with a happy ending this time? Or will his secrets be our unraveling again?
