As most of you know, last June I ripped out my front lawn and replaced it with bee and butterfly friendly plants, as well as a dry riverbed. This of course meant that I would need to rethink my holiday decorations. My witch, cats, and haunted house would still work just fine, but now I have a riverbed and little hills. ZOMBIES! I found the cutest zombie children on Etsy, but they were a bit over my holiday decor budget, so I decided to make them myself. Not my design, but pretty easy to copy. Add in a few zombie fish and my Halloween scene is complete! Hubby did a fantastic job lighting up the river with three sets of blue LED curtain lights. My neighbor added puck lights to each of the zombies, and it made all the difference in the world. I am very happy with this year’s display.
