What do you mean it’s already Christmas Eve!!?? Yes, I am ready for Christmas, but not for the holiday season to end. I love all the lights and fun decorations. It just feels nice. I was amazed how many Christmas cards we got this year. Many more than we have gotten in past years. I wonder if card writing is making a comeback. I hope so. I tell you what I am not going to miss. That crazy Elf on the Shelf guy. His judgy stares as I was on the couch with a Costco tin of cookies on my lap was getting old. You know what didn’t get old? The cookies. I destroyed them pretty quick. I got a little aggressive when the baby bassets tried to steal a cookie from me. I might have even bit one of their fingers. They got the hint. So the snitch on the shelf leaves tonight, and things can go back to normal. I am pretty sure he was sent to watch me and not my babies. Those two are angels. Me? Not so much. I was working on my second glass of wine the other night, and I could have sworn I saw him doing a slow condescending blink at me. WINE IS GOOD FOR YOUR HEART..ELLLFFFF!!!
