I hate when my new friends get eaten. I don’t get out much anymore, so making friends is kinda tough. I was so excited yesterday when I made friends with a lizard. In all the 17 years I have lived in our home, I have never seen a lizard. Strange. There are plenty of lizards in our town, just not in our neighborhood. I hope it didn’t get eaten. It may very well be that it is a female lizard, and she is guarding her nest of eggs that she laid in the dry river bed. In that case I think I will put out a little water for her so she doesn’t have to go far. She will then realize what a good friend I am and tell all her friends to move in as well. Oh dear… I hope she has friends. I don’t want any anti-social lizards moving in. We are a friendly neighborhood and I for one would like to keep it that way. Hmmph… I am getting ahead of myself. Let’s just start with the water and go from there.
