I am almost halfway through the month I am calling, “No Plant Buying March”. I have vowed not to buy any plants this March because I need to save money, and this is the time when the frost kills a lot of my plants. Usually a few days of warm weather tricks me into thinking its Spring and I buy a bunch of new plants. Only to have them die from the frost. Not this year. This year I will have some self control. I am glad I did because we have had some particularly wicked frost this past few weeks. Just a few more weeks to go. The bonus to not buying any plants this month is I will have space for any really neat plants that usually come into the stores after the threat of frost has past. Just a few more weeks to go! I got this!!
