I am a little worried. The huge, beautiful, and a bit expensive Peony my hubby gave me last year as a Mothers Day gift is still not waking up from Winter. I wouldn’t be concerned right now, since it is still pretty cold out, but another peony that I have has already sprouted up. Hubby is noticing that it isn’t showing its face either. He never notices individual plants, but this one he has. I woke up at 2:30 this morning wondering if I killed it somehow. I should not be so stressed out about it. I have done everything I could to keep the plant alive. Sometimes they just die. He knows my success rate with plants is about 50%.. ish (maybe 35%). I am going to go nuts until this plant starts waking up.
