It’s only day two of summer vacation and my baby bassets are looking to me for entertainment. Yaaa…no. I am going to do to them what my dad did to me. TIME TO CLEAN THE GARAGE! The mess in the garage is all me, but as a parent I have the right to use my kids to clean it. But I gotta catch them first. They know the best way to get away is to speed walk away. Those kids don’t even have to run. If a bear isn’t trying to eat me, I am not running. Even if a bear was chasing me I wouldn’t run for very long. I was never meant for long distances. Kinda sad to know I would give in so quickly rather than have to make my legs go left right left right in a fast motion for more than a few steps. I will pick up the pace to catch an ice cream truck though. I am not proud to admit this, but once, as a child, I did chance an ice cream truck who was trying to get away from me. I caught him by jumping onto the back of the truck. I felt like Wonder Woman! He didn’t stop. The 80’s were wild!
