I say all the time I do not like houseplants. I have been pretty open about that. So why did I freak out when SOMEONE (not me) left the shade open, burning my toddler Monstera? I also pointed out that the other Monstera was about to get burned as well. Hubby took inventory of the two houseplants on that deck, then noted the 11 on the other covered deck. “I thought you hated houseplants?” Erg… I do. He then pointed out the new one I bought last weekend (heavy sigh). Umm… I have issues. Best option was to run in the opposite direction so as not to answer his questions. Can’t ask me questions if I am not there.
