Guess who is coming for his annual visit? Our favorite little snitch, Samual, the Elf on the Shelf. The youngest puppy in the family, Rosey, found him in my pajama drawer a few months ago. She really seemed determined to rip him to shreds. I have no clue how she found him, or why he seemed to offend her so much, but I guess I will need to keep a close on on her while Samual keeps an eye on my baby bassets. The baby bassets are 17 and 15 years old. I don’t think a little elf will have much affect on them anymore. His tattletail ways just doesn’t have the same impact it used to. My oldest could literally drive him to a cliff and throw him off. YIKES! Poor guy. I did tell him he could stay for when the grandchildren come. That won’t be for a while, so he can just sit back and relax for the next few seasons.
