I am quite happy. Over the last few weeks I have watched tiny birds go in and out of the bird house I have had hanging up in my yard for over three years unused. I hoped they were building a nest, but I wasn’t fully sure until yesterday. I was working in the garden under the box and I heard them. Baby birds chirping away! Then I spotted mom bringing worms for them. I couldn’t be more thrilled.

Stella Marigold traded her suburban life to live on the road for a reason.
But getting offered an innocent-sounding job as a motherly figure to a young girl seems like a rewarding role that’s hard to pass up. And the paycheck will allow Stella to pay for repairs and get back to van life.
Jhor Farrow — the girl’s uncle and the one who hired Stella — keeps a watchful eye on them. But as time drags on and Stella’s van needs longer to repair, unsettling events take place.
While the money is helpful and the child might need a mentor, Stella begins to be afraid for their safety. Jhor isn’t what he seems, and the more Stella uncovers the truth, the more fearful she becomes as she realizes he’ll stop at nothing to protect his dark secrets.

A pandemic. Solar flares. Climate change. Famine. War. Death. Humanity would have been doomed if it wasn’t for the rise of the Ableds– the common term for people with uncommon abilities.
Canary is driven. She is fearless. She has a robust sense of self-preservation that she readily ignores if saving herself means putting others in danger. She leads a rag-tag team of Ableds who are the only family she’s ever known. In a world where abilities define who an Abled is, hers change every time she uses them.
The first generation of Ableds saved a dying Earth long before Canary was born, but now a new crisis looms: someone is kidnapping Abled children. No one knows who is behind the abductions, and the children’s non-Abled family members are never left alive, proving that the kidnappers are as violent as they are heartless. Canary’s mission is to find out who is behind the kidnappings and stop any more families from being ripped apart.
As her team begins to unravel the truth, a shattering betrayal comes from within and Canary must decide if she would rather fade into obscurity, or step up and prove that she is more than a pawn.

She fought for freedom. She fought to survive. But she also fought for love.
1939. As tensions in Europe rise, young and outspoken Eva prepares for her second year at the Institute of Jewish Studies in Warsaw. Witnessing the rising danger for Jews everywhere, her only hope was that war would not come to her small community in western Poland, right by the German border. But when the war ultimately breaks out, it’s Eva’s courage and resourcefulness that pave her way to freedom.
At a time when most are expected to give into their fates, Eva decides to take the reins into her own hands. After escaping to the city of Vilna, Eva joins the underground Jewish resistance, together with Mirka and David – two resistance fighters whose loyalty is matched only by their fearlessness. With them by her side, Eva is certain their actions can change the tides of war.
But war is not the only challenge they need to overcome, and as Eva’s reputation as a partisan grows, so does the relationship between Mirka and David.
As the three move from mission to mission, sabotaging German railways and power lines and evading the German forces, Eva comes to realize her own feelings toward David. Is tragedy inevitable, or can their love and friendship survive the most terrible war in history?
