I am way too excited about my partner in crime getting a new shed today. Well, it’s being delivered today, but it won’t be put up until the next free weekend. When I was young I got excited about music concerts, getting a car, and boys. Now? Sheds. I also go nuts over a new plant. Did I tell you about my new wish list plant? It’s a Mint Monstera. It’s just like all of my other Monsteras, bit a little different. Back to my friend’s shed. What I am most excited about is hanging out in her yard in a lounge chair under the shade of this beautiful redwood she has, and watching the guys put it together. I don’t get to see my friend nearly as much as I want, and this would be the perfect opportunity. I invited myself over. Isn’t that what friends do? They don’t wait for permission or an invitation. They just show up.

As she delves deeper into the investigation, Taylor discovers that even the most idyllic towns have their secrets. But this time, the stakes are higher than ever before. With a true crime element woven into the narrative, the search for Molly’s missing mother becomes a race against time to stop a predator before it’s too late.

As Taylor navigates the twists and turns of the case, she also grapples with her role as the unofficial caretaker of her fractured family. With a heavy burden on her shoulders, she’ll stop at nothing to piece them back together and find justice for those who can’t speak for themselves.

Award-Winning Book – Does your heart long to be immersed in God and His amazing grace?

This book is filled to overflowing with the riches of God’s grace found in the pages of Scripture. For years, I have loved praying the Scripture, and have been captivated by the theme of grace that permeates it.

When tragedy struck my world unexpectedly, these became my lifeline.

In 2017, our firstborn son was born by emergency c-section in critical condition. In 2019, he passed away at 20 months old.

In the wake of utter devastation, I felt absolutely empty and had no idea how to pray. At just the right time, Christ met me with an embrace of undeniable hope. Finding us in our darkness, God’s Word and His grace were the lights that lit our way home and gave us life again.

Upon Edward’s murder by Confederate raiders at the battle of Nashville, Jacob Cotter is disinherited by his brother and sister. After the war Cotter becomes a bounty hunter to obtain money to return to Connecticut and complete medical school at Yale. Violence ensues as Cotter and his hands confront efforts to burn him out. After Yale he sets out for Endura Texas. However, he finds 1872 Endura Texas a battleground like the New Haven he left. Victor Vlack, cattle baron and Endura’s largest landowner runs for state congress to thwart Endura becoming a city. Opposition to Vlack’s murders, pillaging and barbed wire oppression comes from Cotter and his physician colleagues. Cotter becomes his vigilante alter ego to confront Vlack’s moves. Cotter also finds his father’s killers working for Vlack. Vlack targets his Clinic and his staff for destruction. This includes his ether anesthetist, Mortimer Pignast, who runs for election against Vlack. Cotter falls in love with the Clinic’s widowed head nurse and her children.
