HMMPH!! Yesterday, at the thrift store, I found a life size and very realistic cat statue. It is so life like that the lady working the register had to move it to the shelf behind the counter. She said the customers kept thinking it was real. Did I need it? No, but for $10, I had to have it. My oldest baby basset really misses out cat Sinny. Sinny was the best cat ever, and I never want another cat because I would compare the new cat to Sinny. Plus I really hate cat boxes. The cat box thing is a huge reason, but also Sinny was the best. Anywhooo… I was giggling all the way home. My plan was to put the fake cat on his shelf and he would freak out and we would all have a good laugh. It’s now the next day and he didn’t even notice it. IT’S RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF HIM!! How does he not see it? My worry is I won’t be home when he finally spots it and I will miss out on all the fun. I spent $10! I want to be part of the fun! Now I can’t leave the house. I’m TRAPPED until he finally sees it. Maybe I can play meowing sounds in his room to get him looking around. Ugh. So much work.
