Our Elf on the Shelf is back. Has been for 3 days now. It seems a bit different this year. With my baby bassets being 18 and 16, they don’t quite feel the same about him. They don’t get it though. It doesn’t matter if they believe or not. He is watching. Always watching with that coy little smile on his face. I know better. I really really want that new Nightmare Before Christmas Lego, and I am not going to risk it by being sassy in front of the elf. I will do all that nonsense in my car while I am waiting to pick my youngest up from school. Far far away from his ever watching eyes.
