I feel like today is the official end of the holiday season. This weekend most of my neighbors could be seen taking down their holiday lights and yard decorations. We did as well. Christmas has been completely packed up and put away for another year. The house looks really bare. I honestly don’t know if I hate it or love it. No middle ground on this one. I guess I will just feel that one on a minute by minute basis. Who says I need to decide? Now I am turning my attention to Spring, the garden and Easter. Yes, I know there are other holidays in between, but I don’t decorate for Valentines Day or St. Patrick’s Day. Easter is another story. The garden must be beautiful and full of color. I have already filled quite a few pots with bulbs, so that should give me a good bit of color on top of the plants I currently have in the garden. Thankfully there is no need for me to buy any Easter decor. I have enough ceramic bunnies to do a complete reenactment of that wonderful children’s movie, “Watership Down.” YIKES!
