I got a cake in the mail yesterday! SUCH FUN! It’s my birthday today and yesterday, when I got home, I found a big box with a cake in it on my front doorstep. That is just about the coolest surprise I could imagine. When I drove up to my house I could see the box and it had the words “Gold Belly” printed in big letters on the side. I popped out of that car so fast, I don’t recall if I actually parked it. For all I know it could have rolled down the street. Nobody has said anything, so it’s probably fine. Anywho… I grabbed that huge box and ran into the house yelling to hubby that I got a cake in the mail. There is a reason why I married that man, because he came running to the front door yelling “CAKE?” Birds of a feather I tell ya. I got the cake inside and opened the huge box to find a delightful cake with a note that said “Happy Birthday” from my sister and brother in law. THANK YOU VICTORIA & STORMY! We couldn’t wait until tonight to eat it. We just had to know what a cake from Duff Goldman from Charm City Cakes taste like. Spoiler…. IT’S DELICIOUS!

She bends forward. A silver pendant falls from her shirt, swinging free on a chain from her neck.
The name ‘Cindy’ is in silver cursive letters. On its back is a heart symbol and, ‘From Jim’.

I remember so clearly the day I bought it. I did not have money to buy my Cindy a wedding ring.
But, with the twenty dollars I had saved, I bought this. I gave it to her with all my love.

She hung it around her neck, where it stayed until she and our baby vanished.

Discover the remarkable life of Robin Williams… Free BONUS Inside!

They say that laughter is the best medicine, and no one could quite make us laugh like Robin Williams. His meteoric rise to fame was fueled by an irrepressible sense of humor and dazzling improvisational skills. From the extraterrestrial Mork to the inspiring John Keating in Dead Poets Society and the endearing Genie in Aladdin, Williams’ performances captured the hearts of millions.

But beneath the laughter and fame was a man as complex as the characters he portrayed. Robin had a difficult childhood and, as a consequence, battled depression and addiction throughout his life. Yes, as much as he might have played carefree aliens like Mork and even the impish Peter Pan of Neverland, Robin never really came to terms with his own demons. He kept us, as well as himself, laughing to avoid having to confront the darkness that permeated his life. Tragically, that life came to an abrupt end in 2014 in an utterly heartbreaking fashion. Here, we tell the story of Robin Williams in full.
