It didn’t seem like that many decorations yesterday, but this morning I am seeing them in a whole new light. Yesterday, before everyone came over to go out Trick or Treating, I added just a few more little decorations here and there. I thought the house was lacking just a bit and needed a few more little skulls here and there. Now the next morning, with my sugar hangover in full swing, I am regretting it. What on Earth made me think I needed 700 more bats and skulls? Where did they even come from? I might just wait until tomorrow to tackle this hot mess.

CAPRIATI’S BLOOD (ALTON RHODE MYSTERIES Book 1)
by Lawrence De Maria
(50 Reviews)
Genre: Thrillers | Mystery
FREE for a limited time
Private eye Alton Rhode has recently returned from military duty, recovering from wounds, when a beautiful woman asks him to find the bank-embezzler lover who fathered her daughter and disappeared 14 years earlier. The man, she says, does not know about their child – but his bone marrow may hold the key to saving her life.
Rhode, whose private investigation business withered when his reserve unit was called up, takes the case, although it seems hopeless. If the F.B.I. can’t find the father, how can he? That turns out to be the least of Rhode’s problems, as he almost immediately becomes the target of a deranged mobster. He only survives because a mysterious guardian angel – with an automatic pistol – is watching his back.
It is soon apparent that nothing is as it seems. Bodies pile up as Rhode’s search takes him from a college campus to a nursing home to a Florida orange grove. And, finally, to a revelation he never sees coming.

Pedro The Ugliest Dog In The World
by Papa G
(77 Reviews)
Genre: Children’s eBooks
FREE for a limited time
Pedro is ugly, so ugly that he has been mistakenly identified as El Chupacabra.
In the town of Santa Maria all animals are welcome and free. But from the mountains, the lizard king and his gang raid the town of precious supplies. In their hour of need the town will turn to a hero, a hero whose name will strike fear in to all that hear it.
Will Pedro save Santa Maria?
Or will the truth be told?
Authors Note: After receiving negative feedback and hate mail, I thought it prudent to add a PARENTAL WARNING-This book contains words like poo, fart and snot; it also uses the word fluff three times as a cuss word. I would also like to point out that Chupacabra comes from the words chupar “to suck” and cabra “goat”, literally “goat sucker” and is not a double entendre.

But Magill’s investigations do unearth one interesting fact – sinister forces want the land that the Lazy Y sits on, and will stop at nothing to get their hands on it.
Will he be able to erase his uncle’s damaging reputation and make the Magill name one worthy of the Lazy Y Ranch?
But more importantly, with no one to trust and threats to his life, will Magill discover whose hands are stained with the Dead Man’s Blood?
