It’s only noon?? Oh my gosh. I just got back from two grocery stores, and the post office, and I am DONE!!! It was a madhouse out there. I thought I was being smart doing my shopping today, thinking everyone would shop on Friday! That was a big fat nopety nope nope. In general people were still pretty nice, so no complaints there. But I was running into a lot of people that I think don’t normally do the shopping in the household. So many carts and/or people parked in the middle of the aisles. Keep it moving people! Thankfully I have all my shopping done and I am still on schedule. I had set aside Friday to clean the house. My youngest asked me why I was bothering to clean the house if no one was coming over. He had a point. I guess I could just sit on the couch all day. Riiiiight. Just sit there while dust bunnies do donuts on the floor. YUCK! No breaks until the day after Christmas. Then, and only then, will we be able to exhale.
