There are many movies out there that I refuse to watch because I know they will make me cry, or scare the padoodle out of me. I know I am missing out on a lot of great award winning films with big important actors. When I see a movie I do not want to cry my eyes out and mourn the loss of a person who doesn’t really exists, nor do I want to have to sleep with the light on for a month because I am waiting for whatever bad guy was in that horror movie I watched to come out from under my bed. So I came up with a brilliant solution so I can not watch the movie and still know what my friends are talking about. I watch the last 10 minutes. Boom..done. No emotional attachment to the characters, and I do not experience any build up to the monster, nor do I witness his horrible deeds. Genius!

In the Southwest England of the near future, an area known to the central European powers in Brussels as ‘Sector 9G’, young IT professional Tim McNamee makes the decision to buy a cyborg bride named Mina. Several years later he tells his story; how his life had gotten to the point where he felt the need to buy a cyborg lover and the ups and downs of having a relationship with an artificially created person who owed her existence to him.
As time goes by, Mina becomes restless and begins to question the nature of her being, a search which leads to an underground religious group known as the ‘Association of God’s Children’. When she leaves her ‘habitation zone’ without permission from CyberG, the company that built her, Tim and Mina’s future together comes under threat.
Soon Mina finds herself caught between Tim, the only love of her short life, and a spiritual search that threatens to reveal more about the nature of her existence than she could possibly imagine. Tim tries to think of Mina as an independent person, but when she begins to claim supernatural powers and with the authorities closing in, will it ask too much of his logical beliefs and sensibilities?
