I was quite relieved yesterday when I spotted the gang of turkeys that roam the downtown. I had thought for sure they had been hunted down, since they had been missing for a week or so. Once again they were running all over the street getting their picture taken by anyone with a cellphone. I am pretty sure the sheep that live right across the street from where they usually hang out are getting a bit annoyed with them. I never see anyone taking a picture of them and they are by far cuter. I just realized that my downtown has a gang of turkeys roaming the streets, and herd of sheep across from City Hall, and a flock of chickens living at the Walgreens, all within a mile of each other. I’m not sure what you might be thinking, but I am sure we might be a bit country round here.
