Nothing screams camping and living in the great outdoors like the wonderful sounds of nature… ALL. NIGHT. LONG. Actually, it was only two birds that decided to have a singing battle. I don’t know what the first bird was, but his location of choice was the tree right above us, and the other bird, a peacock, was located on top of the trailer across from us. Lovely. The first bird only knew one note and he sang that one six chirps at a time. The peacock apparently was trying out for a horror film, because he sounded like a woman being murdered. Did I mention it was all…night..long. I will call up Hollywood right now and tell them to hire that bird immediately, just so nobody has to listen to it ever again here.
