Our first stop collecting fresh fruits and veggies for our charities was over way too quickly. In a short time we were able to collect boxes and boxes of fresh apples, pears, heirloom tomatoes, and peppers from a vineyard that had the most beautiful veggie garden. It was a vineyard I had been to several times to picnic at, and I was thrilled to be picking from the garden I had coveted before. I won’t lie, some of those juicy little cherry tomatoes fell into my mouth. I was sure to share a few with the goats and the chickens that were watching us the whole time. With our harvest loaded up in the back of the van we made our way down the winding back roads of Sonoma County to our next stop, a beautiful residence that was hidden in the oak trees. I will tell you about that place tomorrow. I have to say, I was hesitant about going back to work after so many years, but after spending a day gleaning fresh veggies and fruits for a charity in the back roads of Sonoma Wine country, all doubts quickly flew right out the window.

After witnessing the murder-suicide of his parents as a child, Noah suffers from a form of PTSD that has left him without emotion, without a conscience and without the ability to function as a normal human being. With the help of childhood friends, he learns to watch others around him and mimic their behaviors, in order to conceal the fact that his mind operates more like a computer that he has spent years programming. That program is what allows Noah to pass himself off as normal, by establishing parameters of right and wrong that are completely inviolable to him.
As a young adult, Noah finds structure in the U.S. Army, and becomes an excellent and exemplary soldier, but when his self-imposed programming is put to the test by the murderous acts of the superior officer, Noah finds himself quickly made expendable, charged with crimes he did not commit and facing the possibility of execution. Without any reasonable hope for a reprieve, Noah’s logic-based mind accepts his fate.
Sometimes, though, things are not all as they seem to be, and Noah is offered one chance to save himself. It was his disability, his lack of emotion, that made him the soldier he had become. Now, an ultrasecret organization known as E & E wants Noah’s talents, offering him a chance to survive…
As the most deadly assassin the world has ever known.

5 ingredients + 15 minutes preparation time + Slow cooker = Fabulous One Pot Meal!
Have you ever found yourself going home, tired after a long day, only to discover that you still have to cook food? The prospect of having to prepare several ingredients, use a frying pan or an oven, and then perform other complicated and time consuming tasks may either make you to order out or skip dinner altogether.
If think about it, using a slow cooker can solve all this. It will make you save time and energy and money. What’s not to like? On top of that, if you only need five ingredients to prepare your meals, and 15 minutes to make it, it’s even better!
Slow cookers allow you to go home with food not only ready for you to eat, but also still tasty and warm at the same time. All you have to do is to prepare the ingredients in the morning, put all of them in the slow cooker and leave it. No mess, no dishes to clean, and not much effort compared to other kitchen appliances. This also means less work and faster preparation time. You arrive at home with a one-pot meal ready to eat. It will give you more time to enjoy your meal.
Compared to ovens, slow cookers require a significantly lower amount of electricity. This means lower bills for you to pay. Another money-saver is that with slow cookers, you can buy the less expensive, tougher meats. Instead of the expensive choice cuts, you can use the tougher meats because the slow cookers will make the meat more tender.
Inside find:
Useful tips for cooking with a slow cooker
Succulent beef recipes like the cowboy beef;
Mouth-watering chicken and turkey recipes;
Easy pork dishes like the apricot- glazed pork roast;
Delicious fish recipes like the garlic butter tilapia;
Delectable vegetarian meals like the artichoke pasta;
Luscious desserts like the chocolate cake;
Weekend breakfast dishes like the French toast casserole.
Take note that I don’t count salt and pepper, water, and cooking spray as ingredients.
