Yesterday was one of those awesome days at work. I KNOW..CRAZY! On a Monday no less. Yup, I just about had the most fun at work one could possibly imagine. My boss gave me her credit card and asked me to go shopping. AAAHHH!! My brain nearly popped right then and there. My mission was to find sturdy tables, and old cooking utensils to be used as decorations. I am often at the junk stores looking for treasures, but I have never had a good reason to scoop up some of the cool old things I find. Mostly I just appreciate them on the shelves and then walk away. I found a few book cases that I will need to paint and add a few little nice touches to as well as two tables that need nothing at all. I hit the jackpot in one corner of the store and filled my cart up with old cheese graters, potato mashers, and copper molds. This is the kind of stuff I LOVE to do. I even went as far as to haggle with the cashier. I love haggling. It’s like a sport to me.
