Celebrating my birthday this past weekend with my family and friends was a lot of fun. Great food, fun times with family and friends, and visiting my favorite garden store to pick up a few roses. I was hoping to find a stunning red rose called Fragrant Cloud (Thank you Colleen!!!), but they didn’t have have them, so I went with another beautiful red and yellow rose and a solid yellow. We also visited a few of my favorite thrift stores where I was guaranteed to find a few treasures. I of course had cake. After almost two months of being on a diet I was really looking forward to cake, and hubby did not disappoint me. I had the most chocolaty chocolate cake in the world. As great as all that was, this morning I am perfectly happy to be back on the diet wagon. I think this time I could go right through Easter into Summer without a problem with temptations. That’s today though. By the end of the week I will probably be eyeing the desserts at the grocery store again.
