I got a message from the baby basset’s school yesterday that said, “Fire Season started early this year!” It would be much cooler if they said Pumpkin Spice season started early and to get out your fake pumpkins and put on the big sweaters. Nope. We get Fire Season. So do I celebrate by putting lights in the front yard that look like flames? Do we have a special dinner with burnt end sandwiches? I’m not really sure how to celebrate this special season. Maybe I should put on a mask for the smoke and go door to door handing out evacuation plan check-lists. Yaaa… that’s festive. BA HUMBUG!
