I am feeling a bit uneasy about an ad I just watched on my timeline. For the life of me I can not figure out if the person talking is human or AI. He looks human, but sounds like a dead robot. Not just a robot, but a dead one. This makes me wonder if I would want a robot to help me around the house. I don’t think I would want one that looks human. It would be really creepy. I just want Rosey the Robot from the Jetsons to live with us. She was sassy and fun. I wish they would stop trying to make robots look like humans and instead make them look cool, slick, and futuristic.

Can she go home and start her whole life over at forty-three?

Sam decides to spend the summer living in the beachfront cottage where she was raised, bringing her twenty-four year old daughter for moral support and laughter, and her teenage son, in the hopes that the change will help him heal, too.

Finding peace on the sunwashed island, Sam finally spreads her wings, gets her first real job, and reconnects with the siblings she’s kept distant for far too many years. She helps her daughter navigate a new romance, guides her mother through a widow’s grief, and supports her sister as she faces an unexpected challenge. But when the pain of the divorce becomes too much for her fragile son to handle, Sam wonders if she can ever really escape her past.

Aurora & Joy are back in their 3rd whodunnit… and this one is a doozy!

Recently sober after decades spent numbing his emotions stemming from the premature death of his one true love, Joy’s uncle, Beppe, finally seemed to be in a good place. But life has a way of throwing you a curveball when you least expect it. And Beppe certainly wasn’t expecting to be murdered.

The news is difficult for everyone to hear, especially Joy, who is immediately suspected of committing the crime simply because she was the last person known to be with Beppe. Of course, Joy’s family means everything to her and everyone knows what a ridiculous supposition that is. Everyone, that is, other than the new chief of police.

To Aurora, it is unclear whether Chief Finley truly believes this theory or if he is simply trying to stir up the case and those involved. But, either way, one thing is for certain: his harshness and lack of empathy will not be tolerated. Her best friend should be mourning the loss of her beloved uncle in peace, not having to defend herself against a ridiculous accusation.

So, it looks like Aurora is going to have to step in and get to the bottom of things… again!
