I am a bit shocked that it is already the end of October. I haven’t even bought a pumpkin yet. Usually the front yard is filled with pumpkins by now, that I kept moving around so hubby doesn’t know just how many I bought. This year has been a bit different. He keeps pointing out cool pumpkins at the store, and I keep saying no thank you. Maybe I am playing hard to get. Maybe I am just finding it hard to believe that it is already Halloween. This weekend is when all the Halloween parties take place. I am excited to go camping at a place that is going all out for the spooky holiday. They even have a haunted house. I say no thank you to that as well. I have never been one for gory Halloweens. Nope. I love the classic witches, black cats, and spooky pumpkins kinda vibe. I can’t wait to relax, handout candy to Trick-or-Treaters, and enjoy all the fun activities. Oh man. I just hit weekend mode and we still have three days left in the week. My bad.

Women could not be surgeons. She did it anyway.

After the heartbreaking loss of her mother and a cruel attack by her drunken father, Ella Parker decides that dishonesty is fine when it serves her needs. After changing her look and name, Ella finds her footing as she performs dissections, conducts experiments, and cares for patients. She also tutors Oli, a kind but struggling fellow student, but she must take caution. Even in her loneliest moment, she cannot trust anyone or make friends.
