My phone was telling me it was 61 degrees outside at 6:30am. That can’t be right. It felt much warmer than that. I was out at 7am watering the plants and checking on my bees (Napa). They were up early and were itching to start the day. Yesterday afternoon, after I finished work, I wanted so badly to go out into the backyard and do a little gardening, but it was way too hot. It felt draining just to stand outside. It drives me nuts when I am finally at the stage in the garden season when you get to do the relaxing little things like deadheading and light weeding, but the weather keeps you inside. It’s sunny now, but this weekend it is supposed to rain. WHAT? ERG. What can you do? Just enjoy the little moments in the morning I guess. I am going to go and harass a few weeds before it gets to hot.
