You know what I love about Thanksgiving? Well, besides the food. I LOVE the food part. I absolutely love that it only took me about 20 minutes to decorate, and now I have nothing to do until a few days before the big day. The list is shop, clean, and a little bit of cooking. THAT’S IT! I don’t even have to cook the main dish since my brother in law is going to smoke a brisket. YUMMY!!! I could get a little Christmas shopping done this month, but no rush. I’m feeling so good, I might go out an hug a turkey. I’m sure they will love that.

Now, Maggie is thirty-nine and her nightmares are coming back. Despite a successful writing career and a flawless reputation, she is unable to keep all that she has built from crumbling around her. It’s been twenty years since she’s heard from her friends. Why didn’t they answer her letters? Had they survived?
