The lizard family in my front yard is expanding once more. I can’t tell if it’s Liz and Ardy that are still hanging out on the big rock in the front yard or a new couple. Either way I am very excited about the fact that I see a new nest being made. Unfortunately it is under one of the stepping stones on the path from the front yard to the side. I am sure it would be fine if I still stepped on the stone, but I am not taking any chances. I am going to use blue painters tape and make a huge X on the stone as a reminder not to step on it. The good news is the nest is being built right in front of my oldest baby bassets window, so I can watch the whole thing play out inside and not disturb them too much. The bad new is for my boy who will have his mom in his room all the time. Yaaa… being a teenager is tough. HAHAHAHAHA!
