Can you feel it? The battle is drawing closer and closer. Those who have kids in school have already started fighting. Once the holidays hit we will all be fighting for our waistlines. Our family has three kids birthday parties to attend over the next three weekends including my own baby basset’s. That means cake, candy, and more cake, because lets face it I never have just one piece. That would be weird. I battle the waistline ever day, but it’s the heckish four months of parties and holidays that get me right in the gut and butt. Oh I will win this year. I have a new plan. I am going to find a tiny little island and wait out the holiday season. I will live on coconuts and fish. I will return in January svelte and tan. It will be lovely. Just let me daydream. I know the truth. I will be here with the rest of you, cake in one hand, wine in the other. Let’s Celebrate!
