Well… this is it. I am packed and ready to go. I can not believe the day has finally arrived for my partner in crime and I to go to Tahoe to do Tough Mudder. We looked over the course and it doesn’t look too bad. At least that is what we keep telling ourselves. Let’s face it, it’s ten miles and 20 or so obstacles that are meant to take you way out of your comfort zone. I like my comfort zone. It’s a nice place with soft coaches and cake, but the ticket is non-refundable. They do that on purpose to trap you in. They don’t want people getting all wild and crazy, signing up for the event, then coming to their senses the next day when the Tequila wears off. I am not sure what my excuse is. This will be my fourth time. I must really want those headbands they give you at the end of the course. They are nice headbands, but worth getting shocked over? I am signing off for now. You won’t be hearing from me or Book Basset until Monday morning… when I’m all bruised and eating cake.
Don’t forget to check out my other blog, Girls Bee Haven. My partner in crime has been posting the most beautiful photos of lavender and bees. The videos are pretty awesome as well.
