I just do not like it when, in the middle of the night, I hear mysterious large booms. It gets especially worrisome when it is stormy outside and the wind is crazy wild. Had it been July, I would have thought the noise came from people shooting off fireworks. I looked all around outside, but it was still dark and I really couldn’t see anything. I didn’t hear screaming, so that gave me a slight bit of comfort. Of course my imagination went wild, and that was all I could think about. I am not sure at what point I finally got it out of my mind, but the thoughts just came back. I just heard another big boom outside and went to check on it. I didn’t see anything unusual, but once again, my mind is going nuts.
