Yesterday I sent my youngest baby basset off on a five day trip to Yosemite with his sixth grade class. Needless to say i have been a bit stressed out about the whole thing. This is the longest I have ever gone without my baby. My oldest did the same trip two years ago, and I thought for sure it would be easier the second time. That’s a nope. I am very thankful that I have my spies keeping an eye on him. I know they are technically called chaperones, but as far as I am concerned they are spies. I love how much they know I worry. They have already sent me pictures and updates to show me how much fun he is having. I know this is going to be a great experience for him, but it’s going to add more grey hairs to my head. As a precaution I made a hair appointment for this Thursday. I suspect it will be white and mostly fallen out by then.
