It’s official! Last night was the first night of “Sleeping with the Windows Open” season. Just by coincidence and completely unrelated, it is also “What Was That Noise, I Bet It was the Boogieman” season. You might be wondering if I have yet another fear, but no, I have always had a fear of the Boogieman. What has changed is his position. During the colder months the Boogieman in under the bed. Fortunately I know to run and jump into bed before I get within reach of his grabby hands. I am also very good at keeping my feet covered by a sheet making it impossible for him to grab me. Even in my sleep! Yes.. very impressive I know.  Now that the weather has warmed up he moves his operation outside. Usually he is lurking by open windows, but once I ask, “What is that?” he by law has to move on to another window. It’s a rule ya know. Just for added protection I sleep with my head covered by a sheet with one little opening so I can breath. Yup! I love “Sleeping with the Windows Open” season.
