Yesterday’s thrifting adventures were just about the most successful I have ever experienced. I was on a roll. It is truly an addictive hobby. I think hubby worries when I am gone too long. If too many hours pass he knows I am coming home with something ridiculous. The paper mache rhino head was a bit much for him. When I walked in with it I swore up and down that I was going to sell it. What he didn’t hear was what I said under my breath. I will sell it someday. Right now it’s in the living room looking awesome. Even though I went to my three favorite thrift stores yesterday, I feel a huge desire/ need to go back again today. I gotta fight the urge. What I should be doing is getting some holy water to spray on the creepy doll sled I found. I get the feeling it may be haunted.

Trailer Trash, With a Girl’s Name
by Stacey Roberts
(201 Reviews)
Genre: Foreign Languages | Literature & Fiction | Biographies & Memoirs
FREE for a limited time
When the author was born, his mother did the unthinkable. She gave him a girl’s name — Stacey. But Stacey’s name was just the first hurdle he’d face in his uphill climb from birth to manhood. He also had to deal with an entitled older brother, the hodgepodge of different men his mother was involved with, and the nomadic lifestyle he was forced to endure for five years. And to top it all off, his mother couldn’t cook a decent meal to save her life. Trailer Trash, With a Girl’s Name is Stacey Roberts’ lighthearted, often hilarious account of growing up in an unstable household during the 1980s. Full of humor, history, and hope, it follows Stacey from the hospital room where he was born to the Winnebago that carried him across the country, filling in the gaps with a wit and humor that anyone with a dysfunctional family can appreciate. So go ahead and start reading. Once you hop aboard the Winnebago with Stacey and his quirky family, you’ll find that you’re in for the ride or your life, where what you learn along the way is not only entertaining, but also enormously enriching.

Happily Ever Hers : A small town, fake relationship romantic comedy (Singletree Book 2)
by Delancey Stewart
(208 Reviews)
Genre: Humor & Entertainment | Humor & Satire
FREE for a limited time
For America’s hottest starlet, faking an off-screen romance with her co-star should be simple. Thanks to her hot bodyguard, it’s anything but…
My newest role was simple: convince the world I’m in love with my co-star, Ryan McDonnell.
But faking it isn’t so easy when my rugged new bodyguard moves in.
Jace Morgan is nothing like a movie star. He’s a rough around the edges Marine from the wrong side of the tracks, and one hundred percent, exactly my type.
Jace is here to protect me, not love me. But he’s always here, when I need him, and when I’m trying very hard not to need anyone. And his troubled gaze combined with muscles literally everywhere? It’s a lot to resist. And as our relationship begins to morph into something much more than client/bodyguard, I’m having trouble keeping up the act. And even more trouble keeping my hands off him.
But the two of us together? Could cost us both our jobs.
And when my bodyguard and my fake boyfriend come along to Maryland for a family event? Lines get crossed, and I’m not talking about the Mason-Dixon.
