My youngest baby basset and I have decided to try the jump rope challenge. I think there are a few versions of it, but the one we will be doing is the 1000 jumps every day for one week. I am no spring chicken, so we are spending this week working our way up to 1000 jumps. We started out doing 300 jumps the first day, each taking a turn doing 100 jumps. We then add an additional set of 100 each day. Yesterday we did 700. It seems like a really high number, but as we have discovered it is doable. It just takes a bit of time and patience. I really love these exercise challenges I see online. I get so bored with exercise that switching it up actually makes it kinda fun. Just a few more days of training and then the challenge begins. I am oddly looking forward to it.
