Today is the big day. Today I cook, clean, and yell at my family to get out of my way. They actually offer to help all the time. I think this time I should take them up on it. I get absolutely exhausted the day before Thanksgiving with all the chores, but I will tell you what keeps me going though. My brother in laws brisket! OH MY GOSH!!! It is delicious! He cooks it on the Traeger for 77 hours. I actually have no clue how long he cooks it for, but I know it is for many many hours, and I believe there are 3am check ins. Well… you guys enjoy the free Kindle books.

“Drive keeps you moving until the very end.” – Cyrus Webb, Top 100 Reviewer, Amazon Vine Voice

Either you’re in or you’re out.
Enter the world of the Volunteers.

In the late 19th Century, Woodbury Kane, a captain from Teddy Roosevelt’s Rough Riders, forms a secret society with the support of leading American industrialists and bankers. Over a century later, the tradition continues, in the same saloons and boardrooms of New York City, where it all began.

In this crime thriller, where historical and current events unite, Kane, Roosevelt, and Jacob Riis, a muckraking journalist, fight the tyranny of Tammany Hall in the first mission of the Volunteers during the late 1800s.

In today’s New York City, the descendants of the Volunteers recruit Annie Falcone, a police officer. She takes the oath: Et Omnia Recta, to make things right. She must protect the life of one man, Pap Martinez, America’s top technological mind, from a great adversary, Sheng, China’s most brutal and dark hacker. Her instincts alone will be the force behind the success or failure of the mission. Like so many good Volunteers before her, Annie’s survival depends upon her courage, her skill, and her drive.

Drive is on the must-read list for readers who love…

Thirst rules. Ignorance is power. Nothing is as it seems.

Centuries after the boom of the Industrial Revolution, sandstorms ravage the land, chivalry is dead, and the frills and frivolities of the Romantic Era are a distant memory.

Marshal Cunningham rules Sagebrush Canyon with lies and an iron fist. But after the horrors he wreaks on Jo’s family, she’ll do everything she can to expose the tyrant he truly is.
Just when Jo plans to make her move, the marshal plays a card of his own — his notoriously scandalous son, Clayton.

As Jo and Clayton are forced together, painful truths are revealed, lines become blurred, and Jo must decide if she is willing to sacrifice her heart or Sagebrush for retribution.

Dust and Shadow is an arranged-marriage Victorian love story and adventure set in the weather-ravaged, forgotten world of the American wild west. This richly imagined story, steeped with courageous, beautifully broken characters is the perfect read for Amy Harmon and Adrienne Young fans.
