I just heard a rumor that it was Girl Scout Cookie Season! Is this true??? OH PLEASE LET IT BE TRUE!!! I am going to check their normal spots today and see if I can score a couple boxes. It’s a short season so you have to get to the tables early, so you can return two days later with loads of shame and money. I just had a brilliant idea. The Boy Scouts should sell cookie dough versions of the Girl Scouts cookies. OH MY GOSH!!! I am brilliant! Someone make this happen!

Winnie knows babies, and the intern who just hit on her by the hospital elevators definitely qualifies.

Winnie’s starting to think she has a target on her back: her mom is pestering her to sign up for the MCAT’s again, even though she’s already a midwife. Her bothersome ex is at it, too, blowing up her phone with texts and calls, asking her to attend the wedding of a mutual acquaintance when he knows she wants nothing to do with him. And to top it all off, the cute new resident at the hospital-who’s way too young for her-seems to think they should be friends. How’s a midwife supposed to catch babies with all this drama?

Daniel wants three things: a long bike ride, a good comic book, and a date with Winnie. When the beautiful blond midwife gives him the brush-off, he’s only mildly concerned; dyslexia has taught him to be patient. He’s willing to wait until she sees how good they could be together… and being her date to that wedding she’s dreading is the perfect opportunity to show her. But when his boss (who happens to be Winnie’s mother) makes a public pronouncement about how wrong they are for each other, things get serious more quickly than laid-back Daniel had in mind.

With all of Timber Falls taking sides, can their fledgling relationship withstand the pressure, or will they prove her mother right after all?

Could Be Something Good is the first book in the Timber Falls contemporary romance series. It contains mild cursing, a make-out scene involving melted butter and stolen moments in medical supply closets, but no open-door sex scenes. If you like ridiculous bets, meddling relatives, and reverse dates, grab this book now.

PERILOUS TIMES: The Degrading Character of The Last Days
by Andy Ripley
4.2 Stars (50 Reviews)
Genre: Religion & Spirituality

FREE for a limited time

In Second Timothy chapter three, verses one through five, Paul describes the character qualities which will be widely seen in the people of the last days. Although these are not necessarily qualities that are unique to the people of the final generation, as they are common to all generations of fallen human beings, the strong implication is that these evil traits will be dangerously magnified in the final days of history. The men and women of the last days will be more selfish, greedier, more boastful, prouder, more blasphemous, more disobedient, less thankful, more unholy, more unforgiving, more brutal and worse in every conceivable way when compared to previous generations. The complete loss of integrity and good character is what will make the last days so difficult to bear. This book attempts to describe how each of these character traits will impact society and how it is already affecting the world. And how up against the backdrop of this drastic societal decline, we will see the bright and glorious witness of Jesus Christ as it is reflected in the life of His true church.
