After watching the third Guardians of the Galaxy movie, I find myself a bit traumatized. Don’t get me wrong! It’s a great movie, full of action and humor. But there are definitely some pretty terrible things that happen to Rocket Raccoon when he is young. To kinda get over it I have been watching a bunch of cute and happy racoon videos on YouTube.  I’m not saying I am going to get myself a pet racoon, but if a baby were to land in my backyard needing a momma, I am down for that. I will also taking in baby opossums, quail, and dachshunds. Just saying. No snakes or sharks please.

As a widowed father trying to build a family empire while juggling dirty diapers and bed times, Brody Pace has full hands.
And an empty bed.
Losing his high school sweetheart after the birth of their twins left him broken, battered, and lonely.
But business doesn’t wait, and neither do toddlers. With Red Cedar Ranch expanding into new territory, there simply aren’t enough hours in the day to be a full-time dad and a full-time foreman.
Finding a nanny is a necessary evil. One Brody’s much more inclined toward once he sets eyes on the dark-haired beauty his mother hired to wrangle his headstrong daughters.
Clara is everything he thought he would never find again. She’s calm, caring, and compassionate. The sight of her with his daughters stokes something deep inside him.
Something Brody thought was gone forever.
***
Clara moved to Moss Creek, Montana on her last tank of gas, a whim and a prayer.
A contentious divorce left her and her sweet eight-year-old son with nowhere to go.
No one to depend on.
When she comes across the chance to work as a nanny on Red Cedar Ranch it sounds like a dream come true. A beautiful place to live. Income. Security.
And a cowboy with eyes blue as ocean water and a drawl that makes her knees weak.

Or the happiness she never thought would be hers.

Joseph Troyer and his son Isaac — who has rejoined the Amish community — are helping her, and she must admit that she enjoys the chance to see Joseph each day. However, that is also an admission she is keeping to herself for the moment.

But when young Sarah Peterheim goes missing, Hannah has more to worry about than her feelings for Joseph. Mrs. Peterheim is only twenty-two and just had her first baby, so it seems very strange she would disappear without a word. To make matters worse, there is gossip in the community that Isaac Troyer himself may have something to do with the disappearance!

So when Isaac disappears as well, Hannah is determined to learn the truth — no matter where it may lead.

Get The Yak Out
by Christian Celind
3.9 Stars (62 Reviews)
Genre: Humor & Satire | Foreign Languages

FREE for a limited time

If you like a bit of good old British humor mixed with modern deadpan cynicism, this book might just be for you!

“CBB. Can’t be bothered.”

Ben’s approach to basically everything in life is to choose the path of least resistance. Muddling through and staying under the radar while exerting the least amount of effort is how he rolls. He really should have said CBB before getting out of bed this cursed Friday.

A complete London public transport standstill suddenly hampers his plans of smoothly getting across the city. On the one day when he really has to get home. Having to fend off his boss, Finnish gangsters, lost tourists, a clingy lackey, zombies, a cosmonaut, and the police makes his journey so much harder.

But this is not a Nordic noir post-apocalyptic space-aged bromance tale. This is the story about one cynical hipster’s race against the clock to get somewhere he didn’t really want to be in the first place.

So, the question is: Are you ready to yak?
